Kristina M. Bourget is a valued Director on the Anu Board, bringing her extensive legal experience to the table. With a proven track record of providing innovative legal and business solutions to executive leadership and boards of directors in both public and private companies, Kristina is a valuable asset to the Anu team.
In addition to her role on the Anu Board, Kristina has served on the Board of Directors for Citizens Community Bancorp, Inc. and Citizens Community Federal Bank since 2018. She currently chairs the Risk Oversight Committee and is a member of the Audit Committee and Compensation Committees.
Kristina's legal career includes serving as Vice President and General Counsel of Wisconsin Independent Network (WIN) from 2015 to 2020 and as a circuit court judge in Eau Claire County, Wisconsin from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, Kristina was a stockholder at Bourget Law, where she focused on trademark and business matters. She also served as corporate counsel at Xcel Energy from 1998 to 2009 and practiced law with Kelly & Ryberg from 1991 to 1997.
Kristina received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School, graduating cum laude and Order of the Coif. She also holds a BBA in Finance and a minor in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. With her impressive background and expertise, Kristina brings a unique perspective to the Anu Board and is dedicated to furthering the organization's mission of helping children and families.

Meet Michael Edman, the Board Vice-Chair at Anu Family Services. Michael is an experienced attorney specializing in family law and civil litigation. His passion for helping families is evident in his work representing parents in child protection cases, which ultimately led him to join a non-profit board. When he discovered Anu Family Services, he knew he had found the perfect fit.
In addition to his legal expertise, Michael is an avid golfer who enjoys hitting the links in the early morning hours. He also enjoys spending quality time with his four children on the boat at the lake and winding down the evening around a campfire. Michael's commitment to supporting families and children is unwavering, and he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role as Board Vice-Chair at Anu Family Services.

Gino Mangione is the CFO at SMC Ltd, and previous to that has held various Senior Finance Leadership roles. He joined the Anu Family Services Board of Directors in 2015. He has always focused on helping children and was excited to join Anu who strives to improve the lives of children. Gino enjoys tennis, hockey, soccer and spending time with his family especially his two grandchildren.

Kathryn Primas is an associate at Abt Associates, providing HUD technical assistance for homeless services programs. She has seven years of experience operating, managing, and monitoring homeless projects. Additionally, she has worked as a child protection worker, an advocate for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, and as a case manager for homeless youth. Kathryn studied History at the University of Miami (FL), got her Master’s in Social Work from Boston University, and earned her Doctor of Social Work from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Kristen Prock earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, an MSW from Indiana University-South Bend, and a PhD in Social Work from Michigan State University. Prior to joining the UW-Whitewater faculty in 2019, she worked for nearly a decade with system-involved children and adolescents who have significant behavioral and mental health needs in residential treatment settings. Dr. Prock is a licensed clinical social worker with expertise in adolescent trauma and mental health, youth homelessness, and program evaluation. Dr. Prock’s research focuses on the experiences of LGBTQ homeless youth, LGBTQ-related policy in Higher Education, and teaching evidence-based practice in social work education. Dr. Prock teaches practice courses for both the BSW and MSW programs.

Tom Thiegs is a Leadership and Legacy Consultant and Family Coach at Ascent Private Capital Management, with experience helping families, teams, and organizations navigate change, develop leaders, and improve group dynamics. Tom is passionate about the work at Anu Family Services and joined the Board of Directors because of the approach to improving the lives of children through a supportive environment. Throughout his career, Tom has worked to improve the lives of children and the dynamics of family relationships.
